Number of Servings:
Ingredients:
- 1 cans - Chickpeas
- 1 whole - Onion
- 2 cloves - Garlic
- 1 teaspoons - Cumin
- 1 teaspoons - Coriander
- 1 teaspoons - Paprika
- 1/2 teaspoons - Salt
- 3 tablespoons - Coconut Oil
- 1 bulbs - Parsley
- 5/8 cubes - Hemp Hearts
Directions:
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celcius or 360 degrees Farenheit. Rinse chickpeas well and transfer to food processor along with the rest of the ingredients and process into a nutty paste. In an oven tray lined with baking paper, melt 1 tsp coconut oil (this will prevent sticking). Turn the falafel mixture into small round balls and place in baking tray on top of coconut oil.
Cook for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and firm on the outside. Turn the falafels halfway for even cooking. Serve with Green Hemp Tahini, a slice of lemon, and a drizzle of manitoba harvest hemp oil.
