Number of Servings:
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds - ground beef
- 1 teaspoons - cinnamon
- 2 - large onions chopped
- 2 teaspoons - Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoons - chili powder
- 1 teaspoons - chili powder
- 1 teaspoons - black pepper
- 1 tablespoons - salt
- 1 teaspoons - red pepper
- 1 cans - tomato paste 6 oz.
- 1 tablespoons - vinegar
- 5 cups - water
- 1 teaspoons - allspice
- 3 - bay leaves
- 1 teaspoons - cumin optional
- 2 cloves - garlic minced, optional
- - shredded colby cheese if desired, for garnish
Directions:
Do not brown meat. Place water in pan, crumble meat into water, and add all other ingredients; simmer for 4-5 hours.
As this slowly simmers, it will become very thick. After this occurs, remove all the bay leaves and allow to cool a bit. Then put mixture through the blender or use a blender stick to blend in pan.
Skim off grease on top of ground beef, if needed.
Garnish with cheese, if desired, when serving.
