Ginger Snaps

Ingredients:

  1. 1 1/2 cups - shortening
  2. 2 cups - sugar
  3. 2 - eggs
  4. 1/2 cups - molasses
  5. 2 teaspoons - ginger
  6. 4 teaspoons - baking soda
  7. 2 teaspoons - cinnamon
  8. 1 teaspoons - salt
  9. 4 cups - flour

Directions:

Cream together shortening and sugar. Add eggs and molasses and mix well.
Sift together ginger, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and flour; add to mixing bowl with other ingredients and stir 'til combined.
Shape into 1-inch balls, roll gently in sugar, and bake at 350° F for 8-10 minutes.
