Fresh Apple Cobbler

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 cups - Granulated Sugar
  2. 2 teaspoons - Ground Cinnamon
  3. 1 cups - Self-Rising Flour
  4. 1 cups - Granulated Sugar
  5. 1/3 cups - Melted Butter
  6. 1/2 cups - Milk
  7. 1 - Egg
  8. 4 cups - Sliced Apples about 5 apples
  9. 1 tablespoons - Fresh Lemon Juice
  10. 4 cups - Sliced Apples about 5 apples
  11. 1 tablespoons - Fresh Lemon Juice
  12. 1/2 cups - Granulated Sugar
  13. 2 teaspoons - Ground Cinnamon
  14. 1 cups - Self-Rising Flour
  15. 1 cups - Granulated Sugar
  16. 1/3 cups - Melted Butter
  17. 1/2 cups - Milk
  18. 1 - Egg

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325°, prepare 8x8 glass baking dish and grease.
Melt butter and set aside to cool.
In a small bowl, whisk together the 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon. Peel, core, and slice apples, tossing with about 1 tablespoon of lemon. Place apples into the bottom of the baking dish and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
In a large bowl, sift in the flour and sugar. To that, add the butter, milk, and egg. Mix together until well blended. Pour over the apples.
Bake at 325°F for 55-65 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve warm with ice cream, whipped cream, or cream.
