Ingredients:
- 1/2 cups - Granulated Sugar
- 2 teaspoons - Ground Cinnamon
- 1 cups - Self-Rising Flour
- 1 cups - Granulated Sugar
- 1/3 cups - Melted Butter
- 1/2 cups - Milk
- 1 - Egg
- 4 cups - Sliced Apples about 5 apples
- 1 tablespoons - Fresh Lemon Juice
- 4 cups - Sliced Apples about 5 apples
- 1 tablespoons - Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1/2 cups - Granulated Sugar
- 2 teaspoons - Ground Cinnamon
- 1 cups - Self-Rising Flour
- 1 cups - Granulated Sugar
- 1/3 cups - Melted Butter
- 1/2 cups - Milk
- 1 - Egg
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325°, prepare 8x8 glass baking dish and grease.
Melt butter and set aside to cool.
In a small bowl, whisk together the 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon. Peel, core, and slice apples, tossing with about 1 tablespoon of lemon. Place apples into the bottom of the baking dish and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
In a large bowl, sift in the flour and sugar. To that, add the butter, milk, and egg. Mix together until well blended. Pour over the apples.
Bake at 325°F for 55-65 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve warm with ice cream, whipped cream, or cream.
