Devil's Food Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:

  1. 1 3/4 cups - All-Purpose flour
  2. 5/8 cups - Hershey's cocoa
  3. 1/2 tablespoons - Baking soda
  4. 1/4 teaspoons - Salt
  5. 1 sticks - Unsalted Butter
  6. 1 cups - Sugar
  7. 1/2 cups - Brown Sugar
  8. 2 - Eggs
  9. 1 teaspoons - Vanilla
  10. 1 1/3 cups - Buttermilk
  11. 1 3/4 cups - All-Purpose flour
  12. 5/8 cups - Hershey's cocoa
  13. 1/2 tablespoons - Baking soda
  14. 1/4 teaspoons - Salt
  15. 1 sticks - Unsalted Butter
  16. 1 cups - Sugar
  17. 1/2 cups - Brown Sugar
  18. 2 - Eggs
  19. 1 teaspoons - Vanilla
  20. 1 1/3 cups - Buttermilk

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350; Grease, line with parchment paper, regrease and flour 2-8" rounds
In a small bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large mixer bowl, cream butter for 30 seconds, until fluffy. Add sugars and beat on medium speed for 2-3 minutes, or until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating for 20 seconds after each.
Beat in vanilla; Alternately, add in vanilla and buttermilk
Scrape batter into prepared pans and bake 30-35 minutes
Cool cake in pans for 10-15 minutes, then turn out onto cooling rack and cool completely
