Deviled Crab

Ingredients:

  1. 2 tablespoons - Butter
  2. 2 tablespoons - All purpose flour
  3. 1 cups - Light cream
  4. - Several dashes of hot sauch
  5. 6 - Crabmeat flaked, picked through for shell
  6. 1 - Egg hard cooked/chopped
  7. 1/2 cups - Swiss cheese shredded
  8. 1 tablespoons - Dijon Mustard
  9. 1/4 cups - Dry bread crumbs
  10. 1 tablespoons - Butter melted
  11. 1/4 cups - Almonds sliced & toasted

Directions:

Preheat oven 375 deg

In a medium saucepan melt the 2 tbsp. of butter. Stir in the flour. Add in light cream and hot sauce all at once. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.

Stir in crabmeat, egg, swiss cheese and mustard.

Spoon into four custard cups. Toss bread crumbs with the 1 tbsp melted butter . Sprinkle over mixture and top with almonds.

Bake at 375 deg. for about 20 minutes or until crumbs are golden brown.
