Cranberry Pudding with Butter Sauce

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 cups - sugar
  2. 1/2 cups - milk
  3. 2 tablespoons - melted shortening
  4. 1 cups - flour sifted
  5. 2 teaspoons - baking powder
  6. 1 cups - whole raw cream
  7. 1/2 cups - butter
  8. 1/2 cups - sugar
  9. 3/4 cups - heavy cream

Directions:

Mix pudding ingredients together in order.

Bake in a pie tin at 400 degrees F for 25 minutes. (Double the recipe for guests.)

For sauce:

Melt butter with sugar and cook over low flame for 3 minutes. Add cream. Serve sauce hot!
