Cracker Toffee

Ingredients:

  1. - saltine crackers to line bottom of pan
  2. 1/2 cups - unsalted butter
  3. 1 pinchs - salt
  4. 3/4 cups - brown sugar
  5. 1 1/2 cups - chocolate chips
  6. 3/4 cups - finely chopped walnuts

Directions:

Line a 13-by-9-inch pan with aluminum foil, including 1-inch up on sides.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Layer saltines in bottom of prepared pan.

Melt butter, salt and brown sugar and heat to boil for 1 minute.

Pour and spread over crackers. Bake for 7 minutes.

Sprinkle with chocolate chips; melt in oven.

Sprinkle with walnuts. Chill.
