Classic Venison Meat Loaf

Ingredients:

  1. 2 - eggs
  2. 2 cups - soft bread crumbs
  3. 1/2 cups - sweet onion chopped
  4. 1/4 cups - brown sugar packed
  5. 1/4 cups - ketchup
  6. 1 tablespoons - cider vinegar
  7. 1 teaspoons - garlic powder
  8. 1/2 teaspoons - worcestershire sauce
  9. 1 pounds - ground venison
  10. 1/2 pounds - pork sausage
  11. 4 strips - bacon

Directions:

In a large bowl, combine the first 8 ingredients. Crumble venison and sausage over mixture and mix well. Shape into a loaf in a greased 11x7 in baking dish. Top with bacon strips. Bake, uncovered, at 400 for 40-45 mins or until meat is no longer pink and a meat thermometer reads 160. Let stand for 5-10 mins before slicing.
