Ingredients:
- 3/4 cups - olive oil
- 3 - large onions chopped
- 3 cloves - garlic chopped
- 1 - green pepper chopped
- 4 tablespoons - parsley chopped
- 1 bunches - sliced scallions
- 2 - bay leaves
- 1 teaspoons - sweet basil
- 1 teaspoons - oregano
- 3 cans - tomatoes (2-1/2)
- 2 cans - tomato sauce (8 oz. cans)
- 3 cans - tomato paste (6 oz. cans)
- 2 cups - dry red wine
- 4 pounds - lobster tails (or less) cut into bite size pieces
- 3 ounces - crab meat (or scallops)
- 1 quarts - oysters
- 3 pounds - shelled shrimp
- - salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Saute onions, garlic, green peppers, parsley and scallions in olive oil. Add spices, cans of tomatoes, sauce, and paste and the red wine. Simmer 30 minutes.
Add lobster and cook 10 minutes. Add oysters and shrimp; cook 10 minutes more.
Add crab meat and heat for 5 minutes. Serve in deep bowls with Italian bread.
