Cinnamon Sugar Cookies

Ingredients:

  1. - PAM® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
  2. 1/2 cups - granulated sugar
  3. 1 1/2 teaspoons - ground cinnamon
  4. 2 3/4 cups - all-purpose flour
  5. 1 3/4 teaspoons - cream of tartar
  6. 1 teaspoons - baking soda
  7. 1/4 teaspoons - salt
  8. 1/2 cups - Blue Bonnet®-stick butter
  9. 1/2 cups - vegetable shortening
  10. 1 1/3 cups - granulated sugar
  11. 2 - eggs
  12. 10 ounces - cinnamon baking morsels

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray. Combine 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon; set aside. Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt in small bowl; set aside.

Beat Blue Bonnet and shortening until creamy in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed. Add 1-1/3 cups sugar; beat well. Add eggs one at a time; beat well. Mix in flour until blended. Stir morsels in with a spoon.

Roll dough into 1-1/4-inch balls; roll each ball in cinnamon-sugar to coat. Place 3 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes until bottoms are barely golden.

Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; transfer to wire racks. Cool completely.
