Cinnamon Biscuits

Ingredients:

  1. 3/4 cups - Granulated sugar
  2. 1 teaspoons - Cinnamon
  3. 2 cups - Flour sifted
  4. 1 tablespoons - Baking powder
  5. 1 teaspoons - Salt
  6. 1/4 teaspoons - Baking soda
  7. 1/4 cups - Vegetable oil
  8. 3/4 cups - Buttermilk
  9. 1 sticks - Butter softened; 8 T.

Directions:

Combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Stir in vegetable oil. Add buttermilk and stir until blended.
Knead dough on lightly floured board until smooth. Roll into 15" x 8" rectangle. Spread butter over dough. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon. Roll up rectangle in jelly roll fashion. Pinch seam to seal.
Cut in 1 1/2" slices. Place in oiled 9" round pan. Bake at 400° for 15-20 minutes. Serve hot.
