Ingredients:
- 3/4 cups - Sugar
- 1/3 cups - Unsweetened cocoa powder
- 4 tablespoons - Butter softened
- 4 ounces - Unsweetened applesauce
- 1 teaspoons - Vanilla Extract
- 1 3/4 cups - All-Purpose flour
- 1 teaspoons - Baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoons - Salt
- 2 tablespoons - Powdered Sugar
- 3/4 cups - Sugar
- 1/3 cups - Unsweetened cocoa powder
- 4 tablespoons - Butter softened
- 4 ounces - Unsweetened applesauce
- 1 teaspoons - Vanilla Extract
- 1 3/4 cups - All-Purpose flour
- 1 teaspoons - Baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoons - Salt
- 2 tablespoons - Powdered Sugar
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Coat 2 cookie sheets with spray or cover with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, beat sugar, cocoa powder, and butter. Add applesauce and vanilla; beat to blend.
3. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir flour mixture into cocoa batter with wooden spoon.
4. Shape batter into 40 marble-size balls with your hands; place about 1 inch apart on cookie sheets. Bake until set, around 8 minutes. Remove from oven and allow cookies to stand for a minute. Transfer to wire rack to cool completely; sprinkle with powdered sugar.
