Chocolate Caramel Oat Squares

Ingredients:

  1. 1 1/2 cups - FLOUR
  2. 1 1/2 cups - OLD FASIONED OATS
  3. 1 1/2 cups - BROWN SUGAR
  4. 1/2 teaspoons - BAKING SODA
  5. 1/4 teaspoons - SALT
  6. 3/4 cups - BUTTER
  7. 1 bags - CHOCOLATE CHIPS 12 OUNCE BAG
  8. 1/2 cups - HEAVY WHIPPING CREAM THIS IS LIQUID
  9. 1 bags - CARAMELS 14 OUNCE BAG

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350. Mix first 5 ingredients. Add butter and mix. Put all but 2 cups in the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of crust. Melt caramel and heavy whipping cream in microwave at 30 second intervals. Pour the melted caramel mixture over chocolate chip layer. Sprinkle reserved 2 cups of crust over the caramel. Bake for 15 minutes. Chill in refrigerator.
