Ingredients:
- 4 tablespoons - chili powder
- 1 teaspoons - ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons - olive oil
- 1 - large onion finely chopped
- 1 pounds - lean ground beef
- 16 ounces - canned tomato sauce
- 15 ounces - canned black beans rinsed and drained
- 16 - soft or crunchy taco shells
- - shredded cheese
- - sour cream
- - chopped cilantro
- - taco sauce
- 2 cloves - garlic minced
Directions:
Toast chili powder and cumin in a large skillet over med heat until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add oil to skillet and heat, then cook onion till tender, about 3 minutes. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 3 minutes. Add beef, breaking up with wooden spoon and cook until cooked through, about 5 minutes. Add tomato sauce and beans; cook 5 minutes more or until heated through. Add salt or chipotle powder to taste.
