Ingredients:
- 1 3/4 pounds - tomatoes
- 1/2 - small white onion
- 1/2 bunches - cilantro twisted off at stems
- 1 1/2 - jalapenos or to taste
- - sea salt to taste
- 1 1/2 cloves - garlic shaved
- 1/2 - key lime (just juice)
- 1 cups - Bunkie's Fresh Salsa accompanying recipe
- 1 packages - 8 oz. cream cheese at room temperature, (or more, to taste)
Directions:
FOR SALSA:
1. Put tomatoes, onion, cilantro leaves, jalapenos, salt, garlic and lime juice in food processor. Process until chunky.
2. Strain off extra juice.
3. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator.
Per serving: 30 calories (11.1% calories from fat), 0 g fat, 0 mg cholesterol, 15 mg sodium, 6 g carbohydrates, 1 g dietary fiber, 1 g protein.
FOR CREAMY SALSA DIP:
1. Put salsa and cream cheese in food processor and process.
2. Serve with crackers.
