Blueberry Dessert

Ingredients:

  1. 1/4 cups - white or brown sugar
  2. 1 tablespoons - cornstarch
  3. 1/2 cups - water
  4. 1 tablespoons - lemon juice
  5. 2 cups - peaches sliced
  6. 1 cups - blueberries
  7. 1 cups - flour
  8. 1/2 cups - sugar
  9. 1 1/2 teaspoons - baking powder
  10. 1/4 cups - butter
  11. 1/2 cups - milk
  12. 2 teaspoons - sugar for sprinkling on top
  13. 1 1/2 teaspoons - nutmeg for sprinkling on top

Directions:

Cook sugar, cornstarch and water together in saucepan until mixture is combined and clear.

Add lemon juice, peaches and blueberries to sugar mixture.

Pour into buttered 2-quart baking dish.

For topping, mix together flour, sugar and baking powder. Cut in the butter; stir in milk until combined.

Place topping over blueberry mixture in dish; sprinkle sugar and nutmeg over top.

Bake at 375 degrees F for 40-45 minutes.
