Ingredients:

  1. 1 pounds - round steak cut 1/4-inch thick, fat removed
  2. 1 cups - butter
  3. 6 ounces - fresh mushrooms (about 2 cups) sliced
  4. 1/2 cups - chopped onion
  5. 1 cans - 14.5 oz. condensed beef broth
  6. 1 cups - sour cream
  7. 2 1/2 tablespoons - enriched flour
  8. - hot cooked buttered noodles for serving with

Directions:

Cut the meat diagonally across the grain in strips one-fourth-inch wide. Brown quickly in butter. Push meat to one side.

Add mushrooms and onion; cook just until tender. Add broth; heat just to boiling.

Blend in sour cream and flour; stir until mixture thickens. Sauce will be thin.

Serve over hot buttered noodles.
