Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 tablespoons - butter
- 2 cups - grated Parmesan
- 1/4 cups - dry bread crumbs
- 2 cups - (packed) basil leaves
- 1/2 cups - (packed) parsley
- 1/4 cups - olive oil
- 1 teaspoons - minced garlic
- 2 packages - (8 oz. ea.) cream cheese at room temperature
- 1 containers - ricotta cheese (15 oz.)
- 4 - large eggs
- 1/4 cups - chopped walnuts
- - basil leaves for garnish
Directions:
Line cookie sheet with foil. Use butter to grease bottom and sides of springform pan.
Mix 1/4 cup of Parmesan with bread crumbs; cover bottom and sides of pan. Refrigerate.
In blender, process basil, parsley and garlic into a paste. Scrape into large bowl.
Process cream cheese, ricotta and rest of Parmesan until smooth. Add eggs; process until smooth. Add basil mixture and blend.
Pour into chilled pan, and place on lined cookie sheet.
Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool for 30 minutes in pan. Remove sides and cool in refrigerator.
Garnish with basil leaves.
