Banana Split Ice Cream Dessert

Ingredients:

  1. 1 3/4 cups - graham cracker crumbs
  2. 1/2 cups - butter melted
  3. 1/4 cups - sugar
  4. 2 - or 3 bananas sliced
  5. 1/2 gallons - ice cream
  6. 1 cups - chopped walnuts
  7. 1 cups - chocolate chips
  8. 1/2 cups - butter
  9. 2 cups - 10x powdered sugar
  10. 1 1/2 cups - evaporated milk
  11. 1 teaspoons - vanilla
  12. 1 pints - whipping cream made into whipped cream
  13. 1 cups - graham cracker crumbs

Directions:

Mix 1-3/4 cups graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and sugar. Place in 11-by-15-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes.

Layer bananas over crust. Slice ice cream in 1/2 and slice; layer over bananas. Sprinkle with walnuts and freeze for 1 hour.

Meanwhile, melt chocolate chips with butter. Add powdered sugar and evaporated milk; cook until thick and smooth. Add vanilla; cool.

Pour chocolate mixture over ice cream; freeze until firm.

Put whipped cream over chocolate. Top with graham cracker crumbs and store in freezer.

Remove 10 minutes before serving.
