Number of Servings:

Directions:

2 Cups All Purpose Flour
3/4 Cup Sugar
3/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Cup Butter
2 Eggs (Room Temperature)
1/4 Cup Sour Cream (Room Temperature)
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 1/2 Cups of Very Ripe Bananas (about 3 Bananas)
1 Cup Chocolate Chips
Heat oven to 350, lightly grease 5x9 in loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
In medium microwaveable bowl, heat butter in 10 second increments until almost melted. Stir until no solids remain but butter isn’t separated. Add eggs one at a time, whisking after each. Add sour cream and vanilla until just combined.
In shallow bowl, mash bananas until creamy with only small lumps. Add bananas to butter/egg mixture and stir gently to combine.
Add chocolate chips to flour mixture, stir to combine.
Add banana mixture to flour mixture and stir gently until flour looks just absorbed. Batter will still be lumpy, do not overstir.
Spoon into baking pan and smooth top. Bake in oven for 55-65 minutes, until golden brown with a crack down the middle, and toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
Cool for 15 minutes.
