Ingredients:
- 2 - large tomatoes
- 4 tablespoons - butter or margarine
- 1/4 cups - finely chopped onion
- 1 teaspoons - prepared mustard
- 1/2 teaspoons - Worcestershire sauce
- 2 slices - white bread torn into coarse crumbs
- 2 teaspoons - chopped parsley
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Wash tomatoes; remove stems. Cut in half crosswise. Place, cut sides up, in shallow baking pan.
In 2 tablespoons hot butter in skillet, saute onion until tender. Stir in mustard and Worcestershire. Spread over tomatoes.
Melt remaining butter in skillet. Add bread crumbs and parsley; sprinkle over tomatoes.
Bake, uncovered, for 20 minutes or until heated through and crumbs are golden brown.
