Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups - flour
- 3/4 cups - sugar
- 1/4 cups - cocoa
- 1 teaspoons - soda
- 1/2 teaspoons - salt
- 1 cups - applesauce
- 1/2 cups - cold water
- 1/3 cups - oil
- 1 teaspoons - vanilla
- 1 tablespoons - vinegar
Directions:
Sift flour once and add all dry ingredients. Then sift all together again.
Add rest of ingredients. Blend in bowl until all is moistened.
Pour into a greased and floured 8" square or round pan. (For a 9-x-13" cake or double layer cake, double the recipe). Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350° F.
