Aunt Genie Barrow's Chicken Tetrazzini

Ingredients:

  1. 2 - large onions chopped
  2. 1 - green pepper chopped
  3. 1 cloves - garlic diced, or use garlic powder
  4. 1 cups - water
  5. 1 cans - mushroom soup
  6. 1 cans - sliced mushrooms
  7. 2 cans - tomato sauce small cans
  8. 2 tablespoons - worcestershire sauce
  9. 1 dashes - tabasco sauce
  10. - salt and pepper to taste
  11. 2 - pimentos chopped, for color
  12. 1 - boiled hen, 4 lbs. chopped, or any cut up chicken
  13. 1/2 pounds - Velveeta cheese diced
  14. 1 1/2 packages - spaghetti noodles about 10-12 ounces, thin
  15. 1/2 pints - cream

Directions:

In a bit of oil, saute onions, pepper, garlic; add water and simmer 30 minutes.
Add mushroom soup, mushrooms, tomato sauce, Worcestershire, tobasco, salt and pepper, pimentos, and chicken.
Then before serving stir in Velveeta cheese.
While vegetables are cooking, cook spaghetti noodles according to package directions.
Stir noodles with chicken mixture, and pour cream over all and warm through.
