Ingredients:

  1. 4 cups - flour
  2. 2 teaspoons - baking soda
  3. 1 teaspoons - salt
  4. 2 teaspoons - cinnamon
  5. 2 cups - sugar
  6. 4 - eggs beaten
  7. 1 cups - vegetable oil
  8. 1/4 cups - sour cream
  9. 2 teaspoons - vanilla
  10. 2 1/2 cups - apples chopped
  11. 1 cups - nuts chopped, optional

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350° F.

2. Sift together flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; set aside.

3. Combine sugar, eggs, oil, sour cream and vanilla, beating well.

4. Blend into flour mixture.

5. Fold in apples and nuts (if using) and pour into 2 greased and floured 8-1/2 by 4-1/2 by 2-1/2 inch loaf pans.

6. Bake 1 hour or until loaves test done.
