Avocado Deviled Eggs

  1. 6 - eggs
  2. 1 - avocado
  3. 1/4 teaspoons - sea salt
  4. 1/4 teaspoons - pepper
  5. 1/4 teaspoons - garlic powder
  6. 1/4 teaspoons - chili powder
  7. 1/4 teaspoons - cumin powder
  8. 1/4 teaspoons - smoked paprika optional
  9. 2 tablespoons - fresh cilantro chopped
  10. - lime juice optional, for drizzling to serve


In a medium saucepan, place eggs and cover with water until fully submerged. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and cover for 12-13 minutes.

Fill a large bowl with ice water and gently place cooked eggs in bowl, allowing eggs to chill for 5 minutes.

Remove shells from eggs and slice eggs in half lengthwise, removing the yolk.

In a large bowl, add egg yolks along with avocado and spices; mix together until thoroughly combined. Spoon mixture into egg halves.

Drizzle with a little lime juice and top with chopped cilantro.
