How to Make Homemade Whipped Cream

How to Make Homemade Whipped Cream 4 Rating(s)

Are you tired of using the stuff in a tub or spraying whipped cream out of a can?  Once you try homemade whipped cream, you will probably never go back to the other.  Not only is it fresher and bursting with flavor, but it also has no chemicals or additives, which is great for yourself and family!

Use these tips to make your own delicious whipped cream in less than 10 minutes every time:

  1. Chill a glass or metal bowl and the beaters from your hand-held mixer in the freezer for 5-10 minutes before mixing the whipped cream.
  2. Combine 1 cup of heavy whipping cream with 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla in the chilled bowl.
  3. Mix with hand mixer until cream mixture thickens and peaks begin to form (about 1-3 minutes).
  4. Remember not to mix too long as this will make the mixture grainy.
  5. Use immediately or store unused portions for up to 10 hours in an airtight container.  Whisk with hand whisk for 10-15 seconds again just before serving to refresh.

See how easy that was?  Now you have a quick way to make your own natural and crazy delicious whipped cream any time!
