  • 1 pounds - ground beef
  • 1/2 cups - chopped onion
  • 1 cloves - garlic, minced
  • 1 cans - 8 oz. tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cups - catsup
  • 1 teaspoons - sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoons - oregano
  • 1 packages - 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cups - grated Parmesan cheese
  • - snack breads or crackers, for serving with
  • Directions:

    Cook ground beef, onion and garlic in fry pan until beef is lightly browned and onion is tender but not brown. Drain off excess grease.

    Stir in tomato sauce, catsup, sugar and oregano. Cover; simmer gently for 10 to 15 minutes.

    Add cream cheese and Parmesan cheese, stirring until cream cheese has melted and is well-blended into mixture.

    Serve warm with a variety of snack breads or crackers.
