  • 1 cans - yams (1 lb., 13 oz.), drained, liquid reserved
  • 1 cans - (small) crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 cups - honey
  • 1/2 cups - brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons - nutmeg
  • 3/4 cups - raisins
  • 2 tablespoons - flour
  • - marshmallows, for topping
  • Directions:

    In a large sauce pan, mix the pineapple, honey, brown sugar, nutmeg, and raisins, and bring to a boil.

    Mix the flour with 1/2 cup of the reserved liquid (from yams). Add to pineapple mixture; cook until thickened.

    Place yams in baking dish and pour mixture over them; bake at 350 degrees F for 35 minutes. During last 5 minutes of baking time, cover with marshmallows and brown.
