Western Slope Peach Pie Tell a Friend

Ingredients:

Pie
  • 1 - 9-inch pie shell
  • 3/4 cups - sugar
  • 2 tablespoons - all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoons - ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinchs - salt
  • 7 - medium peaches, peeled, pitted and thinly sliced
  • Topping
  • 1/2 cups - all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cups - sugar
  • 3/4 cups - finely shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • 4 tablespoons - butter, melted
  • Directions:

    Prepare pie shell in pan and set aside.

    Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt. Gently toss sliced peaches with mixture and put into unbaked pastry shell.

    In medium bowl combine all topping ingredients and mix well. Sprinkle topping mixture over peaches.

    Bake at 400 degrees F for 40 minutes. Serve warm.
