Viennese Sauce for Shrimp Tell a Friend

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoons - chopped onion
  • 2/3 cups - chopped mushrooms
  • 1 sticks - butter
  • 1 tablespoons - flour
  • 1/2 cups - chicken stock
  • 1/2 cups - light cream
  • 1/2 - lemon, juiced
  • 1 teaspoons - dried dill (OR 1 Tbsp fresh chopped)
  • - salt and pepper, to taste
  • - splash of white wine
  • 1 1/2 pounds - shrimp, peeled, deveined
  • - cooked rice, for serving with
  • Directions:

    Melt butter and saute onion and mushrooms.

    Add flour, then stock, cream, and lemon juice, stirring until thickened.

    Add spices, white wine and shrimp; heat through.

    Serve with rice.
