Ingredients:

  • 2 cups - reduced fat buttermilk pancake and biscuit mix
  • 3/4 cups - skim milk
  • 1 pounds - lean ground turkey, browned
  • 1 - small onion, chopped
  • 1 cloves - garlic, pressed
  • 1 teaspoons - Italian seasoning
  • 1/8 teaspoons - each salt and ground black pepper
  • 1 cans - 8 oz. tomato sauce
  • 1 packages - 10 oz. chopped frozen spinach, thawed, drained
  • 1 cups - shredded part skim mozzarella cheese
  • Directions:

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine biscuit mix and milk in mixing bowl.

    Spray Springform Pan with light cooking spray. Spread biscuit mix evenly over base.

    Brown turkey in a skillet; drain excess liquid. Chop onion, and then add onion, garlic, seasonings, and tomato sauce to turkey. Combine and cook 2-3 minutes.

    Spread turkey mixture over the biscuit mix. Layer spinach over meat mixture. Top spinach layer with cheese.

    Bake 35 minutes. Remove from oven and cool 10 minutes. Run a knife gently around collar before removal. Serve warm.
