  • 1 1/2 ounces - unsweetened coconut water
  • 1/2 ounces - strong ginger syrup
  • 1/2 ounces - pineapple gum syrup
  • 1/2 ounces - lime juice
  • 2 dashes - Angostura bitters
  • 1 leaves - basil, torn in half
  • 3 leaves - mint
  • - crushed ice
  • - chilled soda water
  • - lime wedge, optional, for garnish
  • Directions:

    Combine coconut water, syrups, lime juice, bitters, basil and mint leaves in a cocktail shaker with ice.

    Shake until tin is well frosted and very cold, about 20 seconds. Strain into a Collins glass over crushed ice.

    Top with chilled soda water; garnish with a lime wedge.
