Sweet Potato Casserole Tell a Friend

Ingredients:

Potatoes
  • 1/2 cups - sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  • 1/3 cups - margarine
  • 1/2 cups - milk
  • 3 cups - sweet potatoes, peeled, cooked, mashed
  • 2 - eggs, whipped
  • 1 teaspoons - vanilla
  • Topping
  • 1 cups - brown sugar
  • 1/3 cups - flour
  • 1/2 cups - chopped nuts
  • 1/3 cups - margarine, softened slightly
  • Directions:

    Mix together mashed sweet potatoes with sugar, salt, margarine, milk, eggs, and vanilla until thoroughly combined.

    Pour into baking dish.

    For topping, mix together brown sugar and flour in a small bowl; cut in the margarine until mixture is crumbly and then stir in the nuts. Spread over top of sweet potatoes in baking dish.

    Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes until top is bubbly.
