Sugar Cookies for Cookie Stamps Tell a Friend

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups - flour
  • 1/2 cups - melted butter
  • 1 cups - brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons - cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons - milk
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons - vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons - baking powder
  • Directions:

    - in a large bowl, mix well all the ingredients, except the flour
    - slowly add 3 cups of flour until the dough is smooth
    - knead with your hands into a big ball. wrap & refrigerate for at least 1 hour
    - unwrap refrigerated dough ball
    - roll to about 3/8" thickness
    *do not stamp the dough yet*
    - cut out cookie blanks and place the on the baking sheet
    - now you stamp them after they have been cut
    - if you are using an embossed rolling pin, then you can stamp the dough after it has been rolled out to 3/8" thickness
