Ingredients:

For Stuffing
  • 2 tablespoons - Ghee
  • 1/2 teaspoons - Asafoetida
  • 1 teaspoons - Ginger Paste
  • 1 teaspoons - Green Chili Paste
  • 1/2 cups - Boiled Kala Chana
  • 2 teaspoons - Kismis
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons - Chaat Masala
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons - Amchur Powder
  • 2 teaspoons - Chili Powder
  • 1/2 cups - Crispy Chana Dal
  • 1/2 cups - Crispy Moong Dal
  • - Water, As Required
  • For Outer Layer
  • 1 cups - Potatoes, Boiled and Mashed
  • - Cornflour, As Required
  • 2 teaspoons - Ghee
  • - Masala Papdi, As Required
  • - Green Chutney, As Required
  • - Tomato Slices, As Required
  • For Serving
  • - Curd
  • - Tamarind Date Chutney
  • - Pomegranate Seeds
  • - Sev
  • - Coriander
  • Directions:

    Heat ghee in a pan.
    Add asafoetida, ginger chili paste and saute.
    Add chana, kismis, chaat masala, amchur powder, chili powder, chana dal, moong dal and water as required and cook for a while. Mash the stuffing.
    Add stuffing to potato cornflour and make a tikki. Now spread the tikki with cornflour and shallow fry in ghee.

    Now on a papdi, add green chutney, tomato slice, papdi. Spread curd on top, date tamarind chutney, pomegranate seeds, sev and coriander and serve.
