  • 2 cans - (28 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cans - (28 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 cups - cooked rice
  • 2 cups - chopped green peppers, or a variety of colors, if you have them
  • 2 cubes - beef bouillon
  • 2 teaspoons - salt
  • 1 teaspoons - pepper
  • 1/2 cups - brown sugar
  • 2 pounds - ground beef, browned and drained
  • Directions:

    For the Crock-Pot:
    Cook beef until browned, drain.
    Cook rice according to package instructions.
    Mix all ingredients in crock pot.
    Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.

    For the Stovetop:
    Cook beef in dutch oven; drain.
    Cook rice.
    Add all ingredients to ground beef and bring to boil over medium heat.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30-40 minutes or until peppers are tender.
