Strawberry Pretzel Jello Tell a Friend

Ingredients:

  • 2 2/3 cups - coarsely ground pretzels
  • 1 1/2 sticks - melted margarine
  • 2 tablespoons - sugar
  • 8 ounces - cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cups - sugar
  • 1 envelopes - Dream Whip, whipped as per package directions
  • 2 cups - water OR fruit juice
  • 2 packages - 3 oz. strawberry Jell-o
  • 2 packages - (small) frozen strawberries, thawed
  • Directions:

    Mix together pretzels with melted margarine and 2 tablespoons sugar. Pat into a 9-by-13-inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees F for 10 minutes. Let cool.

    Beat cream cheese with 1 cup of sugar until smooth. Fold in Dream Whip. Spread over pretzel crust.

    Boil water (or fruit juice) and add strawberry jello. Add strawberries. Let Jello congeal somewhat. Spoon over cheese layer and chill until firm.
