Ingredients:

  • 3 cups - peeled carrot pieces or baby carrots
  • 3 teaspoons - butter
  • - sea salt, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoons - freshly grated ginger, OR half that amount of ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoons - freshly grated turmeric, OR half that amount of ground turmeric
  • Directions:

    Lightly steam carrots in a steamer basket until they are just tender-crisp.

    Add butter, salt, and seasonings and toss 'til combined. Either mash the carrots lightly or serve them whole for a healthy side dish.
