Spinach Pear Salad Tell a Friend

  • 3 cups - baby spinach, washed, dried
  • 3 - medium-ripe yellow pears, cored, cut into slices
  • 2 tablespoons - crumbled blue cheese
  • Dressing
  • 2 tablespoons - balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons - extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons - orange juice
  • - salt, to taste
  • 1 cloves - garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 cups - chopped walnuts, toasted
  • Directions:

    In a salad bowl, place spinach, pears, and cheese.

    In a separate container, whisk together dressing ingredients, except walnuts, and toss with salad.

    Toast walnuts on a baking sheet in the oven heated to 325 degrees F.

    Sprinkle walnuts, while still warm, over the salad. Serve.
