Slow Cooker Beef and Broccoli Tell a Friend

  • 2/3 cups - brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons - garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoons - chili flakes
  • 2 cups - beef broth
  • 1 cups - soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons - sesame oil
  • 1/3 cups - corn starch
  • 2 pounds - beef chuck roast, thin strips, cut across the grain

  • Directions:

    Add to crock pot the sugar, garlic, chili flakes, broth, soy sauce, oil and corn starch. Whisk until smooth. Toss the beef in. Cover and cook on high for 3 to 4 hours, uncovered for the last thirty minutes. Serve with steamed broccoli.
