Simple Cream Biscuits Tell a Friend

Ingredients:

  • 1 cups - flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons - baking powder
  • 1 teaspoons - salt
  • 1 teaspoons - sugar
  • 3/4 cups - heavy cream
  • Directions:

    Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

    In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Stir in the heavy cream; knead 10 times until combined.

    On a floured surface, pat dough into a circle shape approximately 1-inch thick. Then cut out biscuit shapes with a 3-inch cutter (or drinking glass).

    Place biscuits on baking sheet, and bake in preheated oven until biscuits are puffed and golden, about 15 minutes.
