Ingredients:

  • 3/4 pounds - medium-size raw shrimp, shelled, deveined
  • 6 tablespoons - butter or margarine
  • 1 tablespoons - minced green onion
  • 1 tablespoons - olive oil or salad oil
  • 4 cloves - garlic, minced or pressed
  • 2 teaspoons - lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoons - salt
  • 2 tablespoons - minced parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoons - grated lemon peel
  • dashes - liquid hot pepper seasoning
  • Directions:

    Pat shrimp dry with paper towels; set aside.
    Melt butter in a wide frying pan over medium heat. Stir in green onions, oil, garlic, lemon juice, and salt; cook until bubbly.
    Add shrimp to pan and cook, stirring occasionally, until shrimp turn pink (4-5 minutes). Stir in parsley, lemon peel, and hot pepper seasoning.
