  • whole - Idaho potatoes, Approx. 4-5 medium, sliced fairly
  • - Garlic powder, lots
  • - Salt
  • - Pepper
  • - Monterrey Jack cheese, Grated
  • - Mozzarella cheese, Grated
  • 1 sticks - Butter
  • 1 whole - 1-2 Onions, Thinly sliced
  • - Milk
  • Directions:

    1. Peel and thinly slice potatoes.

    2. Layer potatoes on bottom of casserole dish and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Layer on top thinly sliced onion. Top layer with grated Monterey jack and mozzarella cheese and pats of butter. Continue layering until slightly below top of casserole.

    3. Fill casserole dish with milk, about 1/3 way to the top.

    4. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour.
