  • 12 - large fresh red chiles
  • - cider vinegar
  • 2 - lemons, quartered
  • 3 cups - sugar
  • - parafin, for sealing
  • Directions:

    Remove stems and seeds from chiles and put through food chopper.

    Put in saucepan, cover with water and boil for 5 minutes. Drain.

    Cover with vinegar and add lemons. Simmer for 30 minutes.

    Remove lemons and add sugar; boil for 10 minutes.

    Pour into sterile jars and seal with parafin.
