Ingredients:

  • 3 cloves - garlic, minced
  • 2 - medium onions, chopped
  • 2 ounces - olive oil
  • 4 ounces - tomato paste
  • 3 cans - whole tomatoes, 27 oz. each
  • 2 tablespoons - parsley, heaping tbsp
  • 2 teaspoons - cayenne, heaping tsp
  • 2 tablespoons - garlic salt, heaping tbsp
  • 1 teaspoons - onion powder, heaping tsp
  • 4 tablespoons - mild chile powder
  • 1 tablespoons - cumin
  • 1 teaspoons - sugar
  • Directions:

    In a large pot, saute garlic and onion in oil until onion is transparent. Add tomato paste and stir constantly for about 5 minutes.

    Add whole tomatoes and all seasonings; blend well (using a hand mixer or blending stick).

    Cover and simmer 45 minutes.
