Peking Pork Chops Tell a Friend

  • 6 - pork chops one-inch thick, with or without bones
  • 1/4 cups - brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoons - ground ginger
  • 1/2 cups - soy sauce
  • 1/4 cups - ketchup
  • 1 cloves - to 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • - dash of salt and pepper
  • - steamed rice or Chinese noodles, for serving with
  • Directions:

    Place pork chops in crock pot.

    Combine other ingredients in a small bowl until mixed together well.

    Pour mixture over pork chops. Cook, covered, on low heat for 4 to 6 hours.

    If you prefer to cook them in the oven, 400* for 15 minutes (or to 145 internal temperature)

    Serve with steamed rice or Chinese noodles.
