  • 6 tablespoons - pear nectar
  • 1 tablespoons - rosemary syrup, recipe below
  • 1/4 cups - to 1/3 cup chilled ginger ale
  • - sprig fresh rosemary, optional
  • - ice
  • Rosemary Syrup
  • 1/2 cups - sugar
  • 1/2 cups - water
  • 3 sprigs - fresh rosemary
  • Directions:

    For Rosemary Syrup: In a small saucepan combine the sugar, water and fresh rosemary sprigs; bring to boiling, stirring to dissolve sugar. Reduce heat, simmer uncovered, about 10 minutes or until slightly thickened. Cool; strain syrup, and store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

    For Pear Sparkler: Fill a tall, narrow glass with ice. In the glass combine pear nectar and rosemary syrup. Slowly add ginger ale; gently stir to combine.

    If desired, garnish with rosemary sprig. Serve with a straw.
