Ingredients:

Filling
  • 5 - medium pears
  • 3 - medium apples, peeled, cored, sliced
  • 1/2 cans - sliced peaches, large can
  • 1/2 cups - brown sugar
  • 6 tablespoons - real butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons - lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoons - ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoons - ground nutmeg
  • Topping
  • 2 cups - all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cups - sugar
  • 2 teaspoons - coarse or raw sugar
  • 2 teaspoons - baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  • 1 cups - very cold butter
  • 1/2 cups - cold water
  • - vanilla ice cream
  • Directions:

    In a medium saucepan, combine filling ingredients. Cook and stir over medium heat for 5 minutes until fruit is tender. Pour into a 9-x-13-inch baking dish.

    In a small bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; cut in the cold butter until crumbly. Stir in water. Drop over and lightly spread across fruit mixture.

    Sprinkle coarse or raw sugar over top of crumble mixture.

    Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until topping is lightly browned.
