Pasta with Beef and Beans Tell a Friend

  • 1/2 pounds - Ground beef
  • 1 cups - Chopped onion
  • 2 teaspoons - Minced garlic
  • 15 1/2 ounces - Great northern beans, rinsed, drained
  • 14 1/2 ounces - Italian-style diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 14 ounces - Ready-to-serve beef broth
  • 1 1/2 cups - Refridgerated five cheese ravioli
  • 2 cups - Broccoli florets
  • - Salt and pepper as desired
  • 1/2 cups - Shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Directions:

    Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in large nonstick skillet over medium heat 8-10 minutes or until beef is no longer pink, breaking up beef into ¾-inch crumbles. Pour off drippings.

    Stir in beans, tomatoes, broth, and pasta; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 12 minutes. Stir in broccoli; continue simmering, covered, 5 minutes or until pasta and broccoli are just tender.

    Season with salt and pepper, as desired. Sprinkle with cheese.
